Champ Design Co., Ltd. was established in 1992. In the beginning the company was involved in the design and manufacture of components and products for cars and motorcycles as well as household electrical appliances. We invested US$400,000 in CAD/CAM computer design system and variety of mold processing applications. In 1993 we invested US$300,000 and installed a plastic injection machine for the production of external body parts and components for our domestic water dispensers.
Having researched and developed our own thermo- electric chilling system for the water dispenser. We secured the patent in 1994. In 1995 we commenced the manufacture of the tri-temp water dispenser. At this time the Asian and domestic markets were our major customers with an annual sales around 35,000 units.
Advancing our innovative technology in developing CW-919 and CW-929 series water dispensers yielded favorable comments on our high quality and
performance, and we secured patents from CE, GS, and EMC product approvals and safety standard certification. We also become members of IBWA and WQA. During 1999, we develop and proceed with production of twist type cartridge.
Masterminded by our talented research and design team in the styling of unique plastic injection molding, we managed to achieve almost 70%
"In-House" production of components by 1996, outperforming all competitors in this aspect of the manufacturing process.
Providing excellent quality, "State-of-the-Art" products together with the finest service to our overseas clients, mainly in Europe, Mid-East, U.S.A, and Asia, we now export to more than 20 countries, gaining a first class reputation with our customers worldwide.
